FILMS SHOWN AT Y.W.C.A.
Films lent by Sir Harry Batterbee, and showing aspects of life in England, were shown to a large gathering at the Wellington Y.W.C.A. yesterday, when men of the three services were present. Girls of the Dental Clinic assisted in entertaining them, and the service was conducted by the Rev. Mr. Williams, of the Seamen’s Mission. Saturday’s gathering was specially crowded and there were four sittings for tea. On this occasion helpers were drawn from members of the Hutt Valley Croquet Association.
