AT WEBBY’S CLUB
The weekend crowds at Webby’s Club continue, and the increasing attendance is evidence that it is fast becoming a popular rendezvous for men of H.M. Forces who are on leave. A round of activities tilled the club’s weekend programme and dancing on Friday and Saturday was interspersed with items by members of the club. On Sunday the girls served an informal buffet tea and entertainment was provided by “Tiny” from Trentham, and Mrs. Pember and friends, also Mr. Stubley, who provided several interesting films.
