Have you considered teaching as a career?
• Teaching offers an opportunity to help young people develop the skills and knowledge to take their place in the world. • A knowledge and understanding of Maori language and culture is an advantage if you are considering teacher training. • Although the demand for teachers in some courses and subjects is less than in previous years there is still a wide range of
career opportunities for people interested in teaching. • Opportunities are particularly good for teachers with qualifications in mathematics, physics and chemistry. Applications will be accepted until 20 August for Kindergarten, primary and secondary teacher training courses.
