WHO’S WATCHING WHO

A research project is underway to find out what programmes Maoris are watching on television and listening to on the radio.

The project is being undertaken by Robyn Leeming from the sociology department of Massey University with a 10-thousand dollar research grant. The project’s on behalf of the Broadcasting Corporation and is a pilot study in two stages. First stage is in Wellington and the second in Auckland.

Selected age and occupational groups will be group interviewed with the aim of putting together a questionnaire.
