ABOUT THE TRUST On the death of Sir Winston Churchill in 1965, money donated in New Zealand for his memorial was entrusted by Parliament to the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust Board. The income from the investment of this capital is used annually to assist people to undertake projects via fellowships. Only about 10% of applicants can be helped as funds are limited, and the Trust Board welcomes donations or bequests to help further its work.
