THE FRIENDS OF THE TURNBULL LIBRARY
The Society known as the Friends of the I urnbull Library was established in 1936 to promote interest in the Library, to assist m the extension of its collections, and to be a means of interchange of information on all matters of concern to those interested in book s generally as well as in the manuscripts, sketches, maps and photographs with other materials which throw light on our history. . The Society carries out its objectives by means of periodicmeetings and the production of publications, including the Friends’ Newsicttct. ' .
• The annual subscription of $!/>:<«.• entitles members to receive the Turnbull Library Record free Members of the Society are also able to purchase Library publications, including those of the Alexander Turnbull Library Fndnwmrnt Trust, at a discount. ■.
