OBJECTS.To enable the publishing of manuscripts in the Library and information likely to be of use to students and scholars. | If I funds permit, to add to the holdings of the Library in approved directions, and in any case to stimulate interest in and developments of its various collections. Members of the Society receive all publications of the Society, and reports and certain other publications of the Library. At present it is intended to; hold meetings three or four times each-year from March to November, when lectures on aspects of book-collecting or literature will be given, rendered informal by chats on the Library’s treasures —and supper. Subscriptions are 10/6 per annum. Donations are appreciated and are payable to the Assistant-Secretary, c/o The Alexander Turnbull Library, Wellington, Correspondence should be addressed to The Secretary, Friends of the Turnbull Library," Wellington, New Zealand.
