STRAWBERRY FIELDS FESTIVAL

Strawberry Fields Friday March 4to Sunday March 6 at Raglan has announced its finalised line-up (below). The Festival has a Mainstage programme on Friday and Saturday nights and a Second Stage programme on Saturday only.

Aussie comedian Steady Eddy is the new addition to the lineup. Heavy rockers Pumpkinhead are coming all the way from Christchurch and both Shihad and Head Like A Hole venture north from Wellington. Clowns of Decadence are

a 7-piece ensemble from Adelaide described as "a latter day Ruts or Stiff Little Fingers". Playing with Midge Marsden at the Festival is Texan Ronnie Taylor.

Strawberry Fields promises tasty food including seafood dishes, Lebanese delicacies and beer tents and bars. You can't

bring your own! Pre-sales are $35 and gate sales are SSO. Children under 12 with a parent are free. Auckland ticket outlets for Strawberry Fields are Truetone Records, Sounds Queen St, Jim's Records, Corner Booking Office and in Hamilton or

Tauranga buy at Tracs. In Wellington buy at Tower.

There are $5 bus trips (each way) from the Hamilton Intercity Bus Terminal (Ward St) and buses will also leave from the Frankton Rail Station, connecting with the Overlander, Northerner, Kaimai and Geyserland trains.

Buses leave the Ward St Friday 12noon, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm, 7pm, Bpm, 9pm and 11pm. On Saturday they leave 9am, 10am, 11am, 12 noon, Ipm, 3pm, spm, 7pm, 9pm. Buses leave Frankton Rail Station Friday 12.15 pm, 4.15 pm, 5.15 pm, 8.15 pm and 11.15 pm. On Saturday they

leave 9.15 am, 11.15 am, 12.15 pm, 4.15 pm, 5.15 pm, 8.15 pm. Buses leave Strawberry Fields Friday Ipm, 3pm, spm, 7pm, 10pm, 12 midnight and 3.30 am. On Saturday they leave 2pm, 4pm, 6pm, Bpm, 10pm, 12midnight, 2am, sam.

Sunday 10am is the last bus home.
