Roger Shepherd - Moves to London '

Flying Nun boss Roger Shepherd has moved to London to work out of the Mushroom UK office to work on increasing sales of Flying Nun new releases and catalogue in the UK and Europe. Shepherd will be following recent UK tours by JPSE, Straitjacket Fits and the Bats and preparing for upcoming tours by Bailterspace, Tall Dwarfs, 3Ds and Chris Knox. Shepherd will work with the indie distributors who handle Flying Nun in the UK and Europe. In 1994 Flying Nun will release new albums by David

Kilgour, Bailterspace, the Headless Chickens, Snapper and the Tall Dwarfs. And later in the year the Bats and the 3Ds will record again. There's also a number of new signings being negotiated. Shepherd says, "I'm not going to London to be isolated there. I'll be keeping in touch." NZ Music Awards The annual Recording Industry Association Music Awards takes place Monday April 11 at the Pan Pacific Hotel. The finalists in each category will be announced March 21. The March 25 RipltUp will print the finalists. Biggest USA Concert Artists The USA Pollstar Concert Pulse lists the Top 15 grossing USA concert artists weekly.
