This acquisition ensures that the |J||U£g SPRINGSTEEN music of Folkways will receive the same respect and attention that is given to other great ■ n ti . «j masterpieces of art. In support of this acquisition CBS records has produced a very special VlOll(lllfQ/Vl(ll1 album to help fund the costs, staffing and operations of the Institution. As a tribute, a superstar cast of rock, folk, blues and country artists have recorded songs of REVE CERA ED WITH Woody Guthrie and Leadbelly for Folkways 'A Vision Shared The album features such artists rEI E 9EEVEK Wl I n as Bruce Springsteen, U2, Bob Dylan, Brian Wilson and Little Richard. U2 have recorded a CWEET HONEY IN THE brilliant rousing version of the gospel song 'Jesus Christ' while Springsteen has recorded two ®WEEI IWIiE I 111 InE tracks, one of which 'Vigilante Man' he has been playing on his recent world tour.
