ENZ SPLIT TIM SOLO
In a move that has been on the cards ever since the success of his solo album, Escapade, Tim Finn has parted company with Split Enz to pursue a solo career. The split was reportedly amicable and the rest of the band, including Neil Finn, will press on. The group actually plans to go back into the studio to start work on a new album soon. Both Finn and the Enz are expected to tour NZ within the next year. Meanwhile, Tim has been romantically linked with British actress Greta Scaachi (of Heat and Dust fame) who he met when he was writing the music for the Australian telemovie Waterfront. After leaving the Enz he reportedly flew to London to be with her.Rß
