Country Cousins Rock Pub

The only country music that most of us come into contact with is the MOR slop served up by TV’s That's Country well RITCHIE PICKETT appears regularly on That's Country (he's the skinny piano player) but in his own time he plays a somewhat more shitkickin’ kind of country music. Pickett and his band the INLAWS (who include guitarist DAVE MAYBEE of Rick Steele and Midge Marsden fame) are currently recording an album at Stebbing Studios. Later in the year they head off to Texas, a sponsored tour that came with the NZ Country Music Association’s top band of the year award. But before that they’ll be doing a national tour here. Be seein' y’all... Pictured are (L-R): Jimmy Wallace (bass), Kevin Coleman (guitar), Noel Lamberton (drums), Dave Maybee (guitar) and, in front, Ritchie Pickett (piano, vocals).
