I am directed to report that in the opinion of the Committee this petition should be referred to the Government for favourable consideration, the Committee being of opinion that the authority conferred upon the Chief Judge by section 9 of the Native Purposes Act, 1934, in respect of the petitions referred to in paragraphs 4 and 5 of the Schedule of the said Act, should be extended to enable this petition to be inquired into concurrently with the aforesaid petitions. 14th March, 1935.
