BuM.BR. This district is bounded towards the north-east and north generally by the Motueka District, hereinbefore described, from the mouth of the Mokihinui River on the west coast to a point near the head-waters of the Motupiko River ; theace towards the south-east by the summit of the St. Arnaud Range and of the Spenser Range to the southern boundary of Nelson Land District; thence towards the south and south-west generally by the summit of the watershed to Mount Haast; thence by the summit of the western watershed of the Inangahua River over Trig. Stations G, P, O, and A, Waitahu Survey District, to the source of Devil's Creek; thence by the watershed between Devil's Creek and Slab-hut Creek to a point due west of the westernmost corner of Section No. 185, Block XIII, Reefton Survey District; thence by a right line due east to the said westernmost corner ; thence by the south-western and south-eastern boundary-lines of the last-mentioned section ; thence by a right line from the easternmost corner of the Section No. 185 aforesaid to the south-eastern corner of Section No. 26, Block XIV, Reefton Survey District ; thence across and by the right bank of the Inangahua River to the Town of Reefton ; thence by the eastern, northern, and western boundarylines of the said Town of Reefton to the Inangahua River aforesaid, and by the last-mentioned river to its confluence with the Waitahu River ; thence by a light: line to Mount Faraday ; thence again towards the south-east by the summit of the Paparoa Mountains to a point due east of the source of the Pororari River; thence again towards the southwest by a right line to the source of the Pororari River, and by the Pororari River to the sea ; and thence towards the west and north-west by the ocean to the mouth of the Mokihinui River, the place of commencement. Grey. This district is bounded towards the north and north-cast generally by tho Buller Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from the mouth of the Pororari River, on the west coast, to the summit of the western watershed of the Inangahua River; thence by the said summit to the intersection of a right line drawn from Mount Haast to the nearest point of the Grey River; thence towards the south-east by a right line to the nearest point of the Grey Rtver ; thence by the left bank of said Grey River to its confluence with the Arnold River ; thence towards the east by the right bank of the. said Arnold River to a point in line with the Arnold Road ; and thence by a right line across the said Arnold River to tho northern side of the Arnold Road aforesaid ; thence again towards the south-east by the last-mentioned road to the Dunganville Road; thence by the said Dunganville Road to New River ; thence towards the south generally by the said New River to Maori Creek Road ; thence by that road to the Rata Tree Peak Road ; thence by the last-men-tioned road to Card's Creek, and by the said Card's Creek to a bend in that creek about 50 chains east of Section No. 2027, Block 111, Waimea Survey District; thence by a right line to the confluence of Hughes Creek with the Taramakau River; and thence by the said Taramakau River to the sea; and thence towards the west by the sea to the mouth of the Pororari River aforesaid, tho place of commencement. Westland. This district is bounded towards the north and north-west generally by the, Grey and Buller Electoral Districts, hereinbefore described, from the mouth of the Taramakau River on the West Coast to Travers Peak on the Spenser Range; thence towards the south - east by the south - eastern boundary-line of the Land District of Westland to Mount Aspiring; thence towards the south-west by a right line to the mouth of the Awarua River in Big Bay; and thence towards the north-west by the ocean to the Grey Electoral District aforesaid, the place of commencement. Wairau. This district is bounded towards tho north-west generally by the Motueka and Nelson Electoral Districts, hereinbefore described, from Tophouse to West Entry Point; thence again towards the north-west and east generally by Cook Strait and the sea to the mouth of the Clarence River; thence towards the west and south-east generally by the said Clarence River to its confluence with the Acheron River; thence towards the north-west generally by the said Acheron River and the Guide River to Barefell Pass ; thence towards the south-west by a right line to Tophouse, Wairau Valley, the place of commencement, including Arapawa Island, Motuara Island, The Brothers, Chetwode Island, and all adjacent islands.

Hurttnui. This district is bounded towards the north-oast, north, northwest, and again towards the north-east by the Wairan Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from Tophouse, Wairau Valley, to the mouth of the Clarence River ; thence towards the south-east by the sea from the mouth of the said Clarence River to the mouth of the Ashley River ; thence towards the south by the said Ashley River to a point due north of the road intersecting Sections Nos. 10512. 11239, Block IV, Mairaki Survey District; thence again towards the east by a right line across the Ashley River to the said road and the road forming the eastern boundary-line (if Section No. 10512, the crossing of a road, Section No. 19557, Block IV, Sections Noa. 84SS. 7761, 6970, 9187, 6969, 8304, 6892, 6621, 7981, 4246, r>5115, 4207, 4206, 3876, and 4553, Block VIII, of the said Mairaki Survey District, and the said road pro duced to the north-eastern boundary-line of Section No. 4366, Bloqk KIT, of the said survey district; thence towards the south generally by a right line to the road forming I he southern boundary of Section No. 4425 of the said Block XII, and by the said road and the road forming' the southern boundaries of Sections Xos. 4257, 4273,?4255, 4123, 4482, 5135, SKM), 4523, Block XI, of the said Mairaki Survey District, to the eastern boundary-line of Section No. 4286 of the said Block XI ; thence by the eastern and southern boundary-line,-, of the last-mentioned section and the soul hern and south-western boundary-lines of Reserve No. 927, Blocks X and XI, of the said Mairaki Survey District, and the road forming the south-western boundary-lines of Sections Nos. 12093, 12704, 12757, 12896, 18124,' 13958, to I lie Kaiapoi Oxford Railway-line; thence by the said Kaiapoi Oxford Railway-line to its junction with the Rangiora Oxford Railway-line at Bennett's; thence by the Rangiora Oxford Railway-line aforesaid to the Old Mill Road ; thence by that road to its junction with the Main Bush Road ; by the said Main Bush Road to the road to Cooper's Creek ; thence by the road to Cooper's Creek to Perhams Road ; thence by Perhams Road to the road intersecting Sections Nos. 3110(), 34388, and the continuation of that road inter secting Section No. 20742, and across the south branch of the Eyro River to the Washpen Road to the Woodstock and Gorge Road; thence by the ; Woodstock and Qorge Road to the easternmost corner of Section No. 26339, Block V, Oxford Survey District; and thence by the road forming the northern boundaries of Sections Nos. 26339 24147, 2420!), 25725, 25726, and 34057, to the Waimakariri River ; thence towards the west by the said Waimakariri River to a point duo west of Trig. Station S ; thence l>v a right line to the said Trig. Station S; thence by the Puketeraki Range and the summit of range leading over Esk Head and the Candlesticks to the source of .the south branch of the Hurunui River • thence again towards the north-west by the Westland, Buller, and Motueka Electoral Districts, hereinbefore described, at Tophouse, Wairau Valley, the place of commencement. Kaiapoi. This district is bounded towards the north by the Hurunui Electoral District, hereinbefore described, from a point on the left bank of the Ashley River, due north of the road intersecting Sections Nos. 10512 and 11239, Block IV, Mairaki Survey District, to the mouth of the said Ashley River : thence towards the east by Pegasus Bay to a point in line with the northern side of the road which forms the northeastern boundary of Reserve No. 2638, Christchurch Survey District; thence towards the south-west by a right line to the northern side of the, said road, and thence by the said road and its continuation in a north-westerly direction, passino Sections Nos. 2340, 31684, 20428, and "20429, to the road forming the north-western boundary of Sections Nos. 20278 and 20279, Christchurch Survey District; thence again towards the north-west by the last-mentioned road to Purarekanui Creek; thence towards the south-east by the said Purarekanui Creek to its confluence with the Styx River ; thence by the said Styx River to the south-western boundaryline of Rural Section No. 294, of Block VII, Christchurch Survey District; thence by the said Section No. 294 to Hawkins Road ; thence towards the east by the said Hawkins Road to its junction with Hill's Road ; thence by Hill's Road bo its junction with Kelly's Road ; thence towards the south by the said Kelly's Road to its junction with Shirley's Road ; ihence towards the by Shirley's Road to the City of Christchurch ; thence again towards the south-east and towards the north-east respectively by the City of Christchurch, as tho said City of Christchurch is described in the New Zealand Gazette, No. 23, Ist April, 1903, to Wairarapa Road ; thence towards the south-west by the said Wairarapa itoad to its junction with Fendalton and Sawyers Arms Road ; thence again towards the south-east by the said Fendalton and Sawyers Arms Road to its junction with Fendalton Road ; .hence again towards the south-west by the said Fendalton to its junction with Kaiapoi Junction Road ; thence again towards the south-east by the said Kaiapoi Junction Road to its junction with Coringa Road ; thence again to-
