No. 32, 1899.—Petition of Heney Hendeeson, of Wairoa South. Petitionee prays that relief be granted to the family of the late John Henderson, his father, for his military services and the loss of his life while so employed. I am directed to report that the Committee recommend the petition be referred to the Government, and the claim therein be further inquired into. 10th October, 1900.

No. 293.—Petition of Fbedebick Cock and 1,304 Others, of Paeroa. Petitionees pray that Mr. John Mackay, formerly Warden and Eesident Magistrate, be granted relief for past services.
