Petitionees pray that the King-country be placed in the same position as regards the sale of liquor as any other licensed district in New Zealand. I am directed to report that, as the subject-matter of this petition involves a matter of policy, the Committee has no recommendation to make, but that the report and evidence taken on the petition be laid on the table of the House and the evidence be printed.
