Final Report i have the honour to report that the Maori Affairs Committee, consisting of seventeen members, has held twenty-two meetings during the session, with an average attendance at each meeting of nine members. Including twenty-one petitions brought forward from last session, the Committee had before it eighty-four petitions; sixty-five of these petitions have been reported on to the House and nineteen are held over. Five parliamentary papers were duly considered and reported on. The Native Purposes Bill and the Maori Social and Economic Advancement Bill were duly examined by the Committee and reported on. 6th December, 1945. L. G. Lowky Chairman.
