GOVERNMENT ADVERTISING AND PRINTING: AMOUNTS PAID FOR DURING 1903-4.

Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the 2nd November, 1904. Ordered, "That there be laid before this House a return showing—(l) The amounts paid to each newspaper in the colony for Government advertisements for the year ended the 31st March, 1904; (2) the amounts similarly paid for Government printing, stating to whom paid ; and (3) the amounts expended for advertising New Zealand scenery (a) in the colony and (b) outside the oolony, stating to whom the same has been paid."—(Mr. Massey.)
