Return to an Order of the House of Representatives dated the 13th August, 1902. Ordered, " That there be laid before this House a return showing, (1) the amount paid to each newspaper in the colony for Government advertisements for the year ended the 31st March, 1902 ; (2) the amouut similarly paid for Government printing, stating to whom paid; and (3) the amounts expended for advertising New Zealand scenery (a) in the colony, and (6) outside of the colony, stating to whom paid."—(Mr. Massey.)
