No. 1. Mr. "W. L. "Williams to the Under Secretary, Native Department. Sir,— Gisborne, 27th April, 1878. In answer to yours of the 11th instant, I have the honor to enclose herewith a copy of the accounts of the receipts and expenditure of the funds arising from the Waerengahika Native School Trust for the year ending 30th June, 1877, that being the date to which all our Church accounts are made up for the information of the Diocesan and General Synods.
