Sir Maurice Cassidy, one of the King’s physicians (above) and Lady Cassidy were seriously injured in an accident near Reading. Both were taken to the Berkshire Hospital. Sir Maurice Cassidy, who is suffering severe head injuries and a fractured femur, was reported to be comfortable after an operation. Lady Cassidy also received head injuries. Sir Maurice Cassidy was driving his car when it was involved in a headon collision with a motor-coach.— London. April 8.
