The Uniflex Packaging marching team of Christchurch won the junior title, and the Avon City Ford Laser marching team, of Christchurch, took the champion team title and the Canterbury champton team title in the midget grade.

This team won the Dudley Cup for the street march, and will represent Canterbury at the New Zealand championships in Hamilton next week-end. LOWER: This burlesque marching team, comprised of members of the Ashburton Savage Club, failed to hear their leader’s command to “about turn”, and marched straight into the duck pond at the domain.
