I POLICE FIND PIECE OF PIPING I (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 15. | Police searching the harbour bed I between the Glasgow and Railway I wharves this afternoon brought to the | surface with the aid of a magnet a 1 piece of galvanised piping about two | feet long. They believe it is part of 1 the weapon used in killing Frederick i Andrew Stade at the Wellington rail--1 way station last Thursday morning. 1 Detectives said the piping fitted I roughly in a T shape with a small I piece of steel which they found under 1 the body. Whether the two pieces of 1 metal match perfectly has still to be B found. However, they said it was be--1 lieved that the piping formed part of 1 a water turncock. It appeared to i have been sawn off at one end.
