REVIEW OF BRITAIN’S DOLLAR PROBLEM (Rec. 11.5.) WASHINGTON, April 11. The Secretary of State, Mr Dean Acheson, has rejected a. suggestion by Mr Ernest Bevin, British Foreign Secretary, for a detailed review of Britain’s dollar problem when the Big Three Foreign Ministers meet'in London in May, informed American officials said to-day.

The officials added that Mr Acheson’s primary reason for not agreeing to the proposal was that his stay in London would, be too short for a thorough examination of the British financial trade picture.
