TINWALD RAND OF HOPE
SUCCESSFUL MEETING A successful meeting of the Tinwald Band of Hope was held in the Central Hall on Thursday, March 30. Mrs Hight presided, and a very entertaining address on temperance and spreading the Word of God was given to the children by the Rev. Williams, of Willowby. Items were given by the following: Piano solos, Harrison Mcllroy Joyce Lane; duet, Miss L. Mooney and Margaret Harkness; recitations, Daphne and Douglas McGee, Roderick Leonard, Marie Cunliffe, Pauline and Dianna Rooke, Kathleen Forbes and Harrison Mcllroy; vocal solo, Mrs Stewart Millar. The pledge was repeated and the Benediction brought a pleasant evening to a close.
