The Russian elections last Sunday drew a 99.9 S per cent, vote—more than 95.7 per cent, in favour of the unopposed list of Communist and nonparty candidates—according to detailed returns broadcast by the Moscow radio to-day. The opposition votes numbered 306,382, less than half the number of four years ago. “Pravda” said: “Never in* the course of history has any party or any Government received such unanimous support from the entire population of the country.
