U.S. MILITARY AIRCRAFT
“SHOW OF STRENGTH” OVER INDO-CHINA MANILA, March 13. Eighty aircraft from the' United States aircraft-carirer Boxer would make a two-day show of strength over Indo-China late this month, said ViceAdmiral Russell Berkey, commander of the 7t,lx Fleet to-day. The Boxer, accompanied by the destroyers Stickell and Anderson, will visit Saigon, the seat of the Frenchsponsored Vietnam Government. Admiral Berkey said that the Boxer’s aircraft would demonstrate over the Annamese cities of Hue and Tourane, and over Saigon and the Cambodian city of Pnom-Penli. He added that the visit would be part of the 7th, Fleet’s policy of “support 'for United States policies and principles in the friendly countries of South-east Asia.”
