WORLD WHEAT PACT
ADMISSION OF GERMANY AND JAPAN SOUGHT OTTAWA, March 13. Mr C. D. Howe, the Canadian Minister of Trade, said to-day that Canada’s representatives at the international wheat conference at London had been instructed to favour the addition of Germany and Japan to the international wheat agreement. Mr Howe told the House of Commons that if Germany ahd Japan were admitted, Canada’s allotment would be 230,000,000 bushels. It now was) 203,000,000 bushels.
