ALLENTON KINDERGARTEN
MEETING OF COMMITTEE Business was fairly brief at a meeting, this week, of the Allenton Kindergarten and Play Centre Committee. Mrs H. G. Kemp presided. Plans for a children’s fancy dress were discussed and it was decided to hold such a function toward the end of August. Members of the committee offered to help one hour each morning during the coming term. Discussion took place regarding the garden and shrubbery to be planted in the grounds and various ideas were put forward. A start was made yesterday with some of the planting. It was decided to hold a dance in the Allenton Hall on August 31 and card evenings on September 3 and 17.
