THE ATOM OUTSIDE INSURANCE
PARIS, January 10. After the announcement that France’s first atomic pile had been started, one insurance company inserted a new clause in its comprehensive motor-car insurance policy, says the British United Press.
The clause stated: “No guarantee against damage caused directly or indirectly by a modification of the structure of the atom.’’
