EARLY ARREST EXPECTED
MURDERER OF BANK MANAGER LONDON, Jan. 10. The police believe that they are on the point of arresting the gunman who murdered George Black (manager of Lloyds Bank at Bristol) last Friday. The description given of the man by Black’s assistant. Mr Donald Tvvitt, tallied precisely with that of a criminal well known to the police. The killer is now known to have escaped with £I4OO. Twitt fought with the gunman after Black had been killed.
The police have put out a “drag net” to round up the suspected criminal.
