GOLD SALES IN MARCH
TREASURY STATEMENT (Rec. 10.10 a.m.) LONDON, April 1. The Treasury announced that gold sales in March totalled £6,000,000. The Government purchased 60,000,000 dollars from the International Monetary Fund during the month.
