LAST RESPECTS
LADY NOSWORTHY’S FUNERAL St. John’s Church, Windermere, was filled with relations, friends and representatives of both borough and county organisations attending the funeral or Lady Nosworthy yesterday. Two hymns, “Abide With Me “Rock of Ages,’’ were sung dui'ing the service, which was conducted by the Rev. J. Evans, Vicar of St. Stephens. Lady Nosworthy was buried in the church graveyard alongside her husband, the late Sir William Nosworthy, who represented Mid-Canterbury in Parliament for many years.
