WOMAN FOUND DEAD
CAR CRASHES INTO DITCH (P.A.) DUNEDIN, March 28. A woman was found dead in a car which had gone into a ditch at Milburn, on the main road between Dunedin and Milton, about 1 a.m. yesterday. She was Gwendoline Coombe, single, aged about. 35, of Milton. Miss Coombe was returning to Milton, and it is believed that she fell asleep at the wheel. MAN DROWNED (P.A.) INVERCARGILL, March 28. When a dinghy capsized in Oyster Gove, Stewart Island, a member of a fishing party was drowned. He was Eric Gibb, aged 38, married, of Invercargill.
