SUPPORT BY SOCIALISTS (Rec. 10.20 a.m.) LONDON, March 22. The conference of European Socialist parties declared support for the Marshall Plan, and regretted the refusal of Russia and her satellite countries to participate in the European recovery programme. The conference decided that the Socialist parties should not take part in the “United Europe” congress at The Hague next May, but pledged support for the conference of Socialist parties in Paris on April 25 to coordinate efforts towards a United States of Europe.
