FIRE PROTECTION
GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS (P.A.) WELLINGTON, This Day. New fire protection measures for Government buildings- have been instituted by the Public Service Commission after receiving requests from executive officers of the New Zealand Public Service Association, states the Public Service Journal. It is intended'that the installation and maintenance of fire-fighting escape and alarm equipment is to he the responsibility of the Public Works Department.
