Visit to Dominion LONDON, Aug. 28. Christina Young, a former Wellington contralto, who came to England to sing in the Coronation Choir, is sailing for New Zealand in the Rangitata on September 11. She plans a series of concerts and- will sing in “The Messiah” in Wellington, Invercargill, and Timaru. 1 Miss Young had a successful career in Britain and during the war served with E.N.S.A., touring the country singing to troops, also going to Belgium and Germany. She intends to stay in New Zealand until the end of April and then visit Australia before returning to Britain.
