STAY OF EXECUTION
YAMASHITA’S PETITION (Rec. 1.45) WASHINGTON, Dec. 17. A few minutes after the arrival of the airmail petition from Yamashita, the Supreme Court granted him a stay of execution.
The petition asked for a review of the Philippines Supreme Court decision denying his contention that the military commission was illegal.
