RED CROSS SOCIETY.

PADDY’S MARKET AT HINDS. The monthly meeting of the Hinds Sub-Branch of the Red Cross Society was held in the Centennial Hall, Mrs McConnell presiding. A successful paddy’s market was held, with a profit of approximately £4O. A letter of appreciation for a Red Cross quilt was received from Sister Hall, of the No. 2 Hospital in the Middle East.

A donation of £lO whs given to the Central Comforts Fund. It was decided to hold a next-of-kin afternoon at the next meeting, in conjunction with the Women’s Institute. Miss M. Wilson was placed in charge of the entertainments.
