REHABILITATION PLAN
TRAINING EX-SERVICEWOMEN (P.A.) WELLINGTON, Oct. 16. The half-yearly meeting of the Dominion council of the Plunket Society discussed the courses of training provided for former servicewomen by the Rehabilitation Act, and it was pointed out that none of the courses of training suggested, with the possible exception of University training, was especially suitable. Already one country rehabilitation committee had forwarded a recont mendation to the Rehabilitation Board that consideration be given to the establishment of a housekeeper training scheme to be available to former servicewomen.
The council warmly approved this and asked its members to go back to their own localities and urge the extension of this idea to all parts of the Dominion.
