METHODIST CIRCUIT.
WILLOWBY QUARTERLY MEETING The quarterly meeting of the Willowby Methodist Circuit was held at the residence of Mr G. H. B. Lill on Thursday, the Rev. W. Wl Avery presiding. Motions of sympathy in bereavement with Mrs H. Chapman and the relatives of the late Mr R. Williams (Waterton) and Mr Brown (Mayfield.) were carried in silence. Messrs G. 11. B. Lill and IT. 0. B. Withell were appointed representatives to the conference to be held in Timaru next month, with Messrs W. and S. 11. Lill as substitutes. A health report was given by Mrs M. M. Lill, and Mrs W. T. Lill reported on the Women’s Missionary Auxiliary. An invitation will be extended to the Rev. E. D. Patchett to become the circuit minister in place of Mr Avery. It was announced that during the coming quarter sendees will he held at Tinwald, Hinds, Willowby, Ealing and Waterton. » Mesdames S. H. Lill and R. J. Chapman were appointed auditors. Supper was provided by Mrs G. H. B. and the Misses Lill.
