RED CROSS SOCIETY.
THE WILLOW BY SUB-BRANQH. The monthly meeting of the Willowby sub-Branch of the Red . Cross Society was held in the school room. Mrs R. J. Lattimore presided. Knitting wool was distributed and finished garments handed in. After the meeting there was a gathering of the Women’s Knitting Society, when it was decided to forward parcels and extra cake to soldiers and prisoners of war overseas. A soldiers’ sales table was conducted, Mrs J. Ellis being in charge-of it.
