John Hector McAulay was remanded again until next Thursday, when charged before Mr F.F. Roid, S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court this morning with the murder of Wilhelmina Webster, a woman taxi-driver, at Ashburton on March 16. Mr D. W. Russell appeared for McAulay. 1 Asking for a remand, Senior-Detec-tive H. Nuttall said it was hoped that next Thursday it would be possible to make a definite date for the hearing at Ashburton.
