TREATMENT FOR TWELVE MONTHS. INSURANCE MANAGER’S THEFTS. (P.A.) CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. A sentence of 12 months’ reformative detention was passed on John Joseph Graham Young, an insurance agent, of Timaru, by Mr Justice Northcroft in- the Supreme Court to-day prisoner having pleaded guilty to seven charges of theft from his employers, the Colonial Mutual Life Assurance Society, involving £486 12s 2d. The Court was informed to-day that prisoner had also made confession to matters involving £4OO additional to the money mentioned in the charges.
