THE TINWALD STOCK MARKET. A DOUBLE SALE TO-DAY. VALUES SLIGHTLY EASIER. While high prices were still ruling at the double stock market at Tinwald to-day values were generally slightly lower than at the Ashburton sale last Tuesday. The entry was fairly large, itt View of the fact that there will be no sale next week on account of National Week. The top price this morning was 25s 4d for two hoggets sold on account of a client. Sheep in this class ranged from 20s 3d to the higher price mentioned. Two ewes brought 32s Id. The lowest price for this type of sheep was 16s 10d. Values varied from 19s 10d to 30s for wethers. .The main sales this morning were: Fat Ewes —On account of B. Stevenson (Longbeach), 6 at 21s 3d, 3 at 23s 10d; J. W. Ownsworth (Lowcliffe), 6 at 23s 4d; A. L. Pratley, 1 at 23s 9d; clients, 5 at 23s Id, 4 at 16s lOd, 5 at 20s Id, 8 at 23s lOd, 2 at 32s Id, 2 at 22s Id, 5 at 23s Id, 6 at 26s 7d, 8 at 21s lOd, 4 at 17s 7d, 7 at 22s 7d 4 at 20s 4d, 4 at 20s Id, 7 at 21s 7d, 7 at 25s lOd, 5 at 23s lOd.
