(P.A.) WELLINGTON, July 31. The Minister for Defence (the Hon. F. Jones) announces tfiat Ordinary Seaman John Alfred 'Cole, of Christchurch, has been reported missing, presumed killed, on active service with the Royal Navy. -His father is Mr H. J. Cole, of Salisbury street, Christchurch.
