FOOD FOR EIRE.
AMERICA TO SEND SUPPLIES (United Press Association—Copyright > (Rec. 11.50 a.m.) LONDON, May 20.
President Roosevelt disclosed that the United States has offered to sen or charter two ships to Eire and supply food to the value of 500,000 dollars. The ships could carry mucli mort, food. Indicating that Eire intended purchasing supplies Air Roosevelt said that nothing was done about supplying military equipment to Eire.
