GERMANS ALLEGE CONTRABAND.

(Rec.-11.0 a.m.) LONDON, May 20. The German radio announced, that the crew and passengers of the Egyptian steamer Zamzam are safe somewhere in occupied territory. It is claimed that the Zamzam carried contraband and was sunk in the Atlantic strictly in accordance' with the blockade operations. It added that the Zamzam carried lorries, cars and machines for British troops and De Gaulle forces.
