MISSIONARY UNION.
MAYFIELD PRESBYTERIANS. The monthly meeting of the Mayfield Presbyterian Women’s Alissionar.y Union was held yesterday afternoon, when the President (Airs J. S. Freeman) presided over an excellent attendance. A short- business meeting was held before the social hour. An invitation from the Care-w branch to attend its meeting, when, Airs W. J. Aloore will be the speaker, .was accepted. It was decided to give Christmas gifts to the home missionaries at Hinds and iS'pringburn. It was decided that the next- meeting be held in February. The social hour then followed. The nuembers of the Anglican Ladies’ Guild and church were the guests of the Union. Mrs J. S'. Freeman welcomed them, especially Mrs H. G. Morris, to whom she presented a dainty shoulder spray. Atesdames O. Dunstan and H. G. Morris, replied for the visitors. Airs H. R.. Tasker entertained with recitations and Aliss Shirley Alurdoch sang two solos. Amusing competitions w*?|re held, the winners being Alcsdames Ri. AY. Oakley, J. S. Freeman and,AY. Elmslie.
The hostesses were Atesctamcs G. J Alurdoch and H. R,. Tasker.
