FIRST APPRAISEMENT
WELLINGTON WOOL CLIP. COMPENSATION FOR. SKIRTING. (Per Press Association). - WELLINGTON, This Day. The Wellington Woolbrokers’ Association reports that the first Wellington appraisement of 6004 bales was completed yesterday. The bulk was hogget wool, which opened for display attjractivelv.) The dips from the Manawatu were exceptionally well grown.
It is noticeable that wools that are skirted are realising better prices. Unskirted wool is definitely on a lower basis than last season, and now growers are receiving full compensation for paying every attention to the get-up of clips.
